The earlier stuff is more metal, they get heavier as you go back through their catalogue, but they still sound like Anathema, the atmosphere and all. The albums pre-Eternity have growling on them (well, Pentecost III is more like talking).Originally posted by Vortex
How does the earlier stuff differ from works like Alternative 4 and Judgement? I've grown to LOVE those albums lately. Is the same magical songcraft there already, or is it closer to standard underground metal? I'm thinking of what to buy next.
