Lacrimas My Dying Profu... errrr Anathema

I've heard some older material from them and it does seem to be very "Silent Enigma" influenced. Of course, that doesn't mean that it is bad music, just not very original. I do have the "Burning:A Wish" album and it seems that they have moved on to worshipping "Eternity" on that one. It's ok...they do manage some nice melancholic atmospheres, but they need a new singer and stronger arrangements. Haven't heard the latest one..."Fall:I Will Follow", but heard that it is more Depeche Mode than Anathema.

I heard Lacrimas Profundere a few times. One song had the main riff from Restless Oblivion in it. One of their albums has angels on the cover. Also, if you look at the names of the band members, you'll see that the singer and one of the guitarists are brothers!
