Yeah, sound and lights. So we learn how to control a PA and how to program a nice lightshow. But also the dirty work has to be done of course. Hanging the lights in a concert hall takes a good few hours, and some of em are fookn heavy The worst is all the cables, imagine aprox 100 lights, each with a heavy cable of a few metres, had to fix all this yesterday during my first stage day (for Zita Swoon )

Hey Zita Swoon was pretty cool actually, I liked it. Today was Jasper Steverlinck (the horror).

And I first intended doing (beeld-geluid-montage), studies to make movies and tv shows, but for some reason, the maths are so extremely difficult only students who used to be in a 8h/week math studies can deal with it. I've been to an art academy with 2h/week, and I didn't bother trying then, that's wasting money. Especially if you know that aprox 10% of the students pass their first year.

aah.. beeld-geluid-montage, they recomended that to me when i did the exams to enter the school (RITS).. i wanted to studie 'Radio' but these fuckers thought it wasn't something for me cause off i misunderstood one essay and cause of my voice was to 'smockey' they didn't let me in
so then they said, 'we think that you would like beeld geluid montage more'.. but i was so dissapointed that after a while i was so mad that i said them to fuck off with their school and their fucking 'air'...man, i was sooooo upset..
who the fuck are they to refuse someone to study something..

but now i found out that the VDAB is giving a 'cursus' light and sound assistant and if you're unimployed you can follow that one for free, so next year i'll be unimployed (it was already full for this year..

but then again, i like my job i have now since two months and hope to get a decent contract soon so.. aah we'll see..
