This is just a mixing job I'm working on. Still waiting to finish tracking the vocals on the other project so thought I'd start getting this mix out of the way.

This is tracked by the band, with really modest gear. Guitars have a lot of small clicks in (don't think the guitarist used crossfades). Hopefully they aren't too noticable.

Guitars are LINE 6 SPIDER direct, bass was a DI (and was pretty noisy). Not sure about vocals, drums are Superior 2 with slate samples.

What do you think? Is the guitar tone passable?

Well it smells a little like POD but it's definitely listenable. I thought also that the drums sound kinda robotic. Anyway, great job on the mix man!

Sounds pretty cool dude. Maybe automate the guitars up in volume for the louder drum fills and blast beats. They get kinda eatin up in those parts.

Sounds pretty good. I'm surprised the guitars actually sound this good being recorded direct with a Spider. I'm digging the song too.

Sounds REALLY good, especially for a Spider! but yeah... they feel a little bit buried.
