So - this is indeed the picture that proves once and for all, you can never have enough guitars and amps. I always knew that Joe Bonamassa had a thing for guitars, but until I recently saw this picture I thought we were talking like in the 10 - 20 range, but boy was I wrong.
He also recently added that beautiful 1959 burst to his stable and it sounds absolutely heavenly. While many would think he is crazy bringing it our on the road with him, as it probably cost in the quarter to a half million dollars (possibly even more on the vintage market), he plays it at almost every show as he thinks guitars are meant to be played, not as framed pieces of memorabilia on a wall.
Joe with his amps and guitars:
Joe with the 1959 Les Paul (damn does that sound sweet):
Honey, if you are reading this, I know what I want for Christmas, do you have a few organs to spare for the black market so I can put a down payment on it?
