Angra's Nova Era riff stolen by an 'Axé Music' band:

This band's singer even said the composer 'gave' him the music a few years ago and that the Angra guys are assholes for complaining. The Angra guys told on their twitter things they are more upset with THIS KIND of band stealing their music than the steal itself.

This comment will only make sense to those who know "El Chavo del Ocho" but I LOL´d hard.

I saw this news on a YouTube video and the top rated comment was:
"Conta tudo pra sua mãe, Kiko!"

I have hard time hearing the comparison excepted the timing ?

BTW I knew the song, I just don't know how

Were you comparing the two youtube videos? that's why i did at first and i was like wtf?? but then i watched the first file all the way through and then got it lol

It's sucks that people actaully do that shit anymore. As an artist it would do nothing for me to steal someone elses music.

Is the second half of the first youtube video the actual song, or just someone playing the riff over the parangole song ?

Okay I sorted it : the actual plagiat song is entitled "Asevixe". I was mistaken because everywhere they write "Rebolation" but this song has nothing to do with angra.

WTF did I just listen to ? haha.
People like that kind of music where your from?

Yeah, man, a lot...I recorded some shit like this last year and this has way more audience than ANY rock band over here. Damn Africans that brought this percussive shit over here :Smug:

Jarkko, you made me lol so hard man hahahha

This is really serious, you've gotta watch the whole first video to get it. The 2nd one is to know this crap better :D

i don't know, it's just a generic heavy metal riff, and if by chance you happen to write a similar break after the first 2 bars are finished, you could appear in this list. I'm really not sure it's real "rip off". The intro/build up is generic, and the second half part is also pretty generic. If you take all heavy metal songs, I'm sure you can find other songs that come close to these 4.
