I was just wondering if there are any good metal music stores in the area. Hopefully there's a few as we have maybe one store out here in San Francisco that has a dedicated metal section.
Cool. Thanks Glenn.Harvester said:Between the vendors that are going to be there, every disc you could possibly want is going to be available for purchase at the show for much cheaper than anywhere else.

Vendor tables are evil money sucking vampires. But I sure do love em.
Actually I've only been to Ameoba once. The place I go to is Rasputin Music. The selection is pretty good and it's in a perfect location(if I dont find what I want I just walk 1 block to Virgin Megastore) right in the heart of downtown San Francisco. But I actually buy most of my cd's from metaldisc.com.metal71 said:For the dude in San Francisco -- would that be Amoeba Records? Great shop for metal!!! I nearly crapped my pants in there. Almost as big as a grociery store.

For about $120 shipped, I got a machine that will play any region DVD, PAL/NTSC, anti-copying encoded discs, etc. ...Mine is a "Daewoo". Works just fine, don't waste teice the cash on an expensive name brand that won't even work for you.

You can get the Daiwoo S151 all-region DVD player on E-Bay for $48 plus $29 s/h US. Here's the link. Seller has over 2000 sales on E-Bay and there's no bidding required. He appears to have a lot of them. Here's the link:
