Another Awesome band from Tunisia YRAM

The wild thing is that there is a lot of good bands coming out of Africa and the Near East. You would think that metal would be non-existent in this region do to it being considered non-compatible to Islam.

True. Many of those Islamic countries are migrating to a less-strict culture, compared with places like Iran and Saudi Arabia, partly due to a strong expatriate presence.

Having spent 3 years in Saudi Arabia, you just don't realize how good things are here, even with our economy, and other things. That country is so restrictive on everything you do even as an expatriate. Luckily the company I work for had their own compound, for their employees and it was a self contained city, and we had no reason to venture into the city(Jeddah). The choice of music there is needless to say non exsistent, as are other things. When people would go on vacations out of country they would leave with just a back-pack and return 3 to 4 weeks later with 4 to 5 suitcases full of either clothes or foodstuffs(Doritos, and Jalepeno Peppers toped the list). So it does my heart good to see YRAM and of course MYRATH come out and give us this breath of Middle Eastern Metal.
