Another DITF venue change.. what duh fuck?

 Who the hell is promoting this gig? 4 venue changes, the last being 48 hours before start time? You should take your band and headline the 3rd venue on the mountain. Chances are some people won't see this final update.

hahahahah ... Death in the Church ...
this is too funny ... also says a lot about expected attendance ... I cannot forsee more than 600-800 people inside Avalon.

and how the heck did he score Avalon? that place is a dance freak house money maker every weekend ... must be a daytime show.

Avalon is where we saw Isis. It got packed quick. If you're not at the front of the balcony or in the crowd itself, the views are null & void.

From the site update:

Yeh, it's not forest, but its better than no show at all.

the show will no be running from 11 am to 11 pm to meet time contraints

i cannot possibly imagine how much they got charged for renting the Avalon ...
i give the guy credit to put on the show no matter what ... but at this point he must be knee deep in shit financially

i won't have time to go, this weekend turned out to be full ...
but I really wish I could ... the promoter/bands need all the support they can get at this point.

hope you guys have a great show! :kickass:

first thought: jesus fucking christ this will be a sound engineer's nightmare

less than 48 hrs of setup time and first band on at 11am

i am wondering how many of the rednecks from Upstate will make the trek to NYC

All those who have already bought tickets will make the trek. It's just a train ride into Secaucus or Hoboken and then into the city.

They'll also sell tickets at the door and you've got a big death metal contingent in NYC.

The ONLY problem is, 1349 or Vital Remains are just not big enough yet....this show needed a Morbid Angel, Deicide, or Cannibal Corpse to pull the crowd. But I might be wrong.
