another "what do you think about the mix"

thanks man

drums are all samples at the moment we havent recorded a real kit
but is close to the sound i ll go for with the triggers
bass is an ibanez through BassPodXt direct to DIGIrack 002 with some drive on it

guitars are pod 2.0 the insane channel with 4x12 cab - i dont remember the exact settings
i used 4 channels, some equing, a small variation of andys c4 and stereo imager s1

there is a q10 in master track that makes big difference

glad you liked it

Wow, you got this guitar sound with pod 2.0 :OMG:.

Concerning the mix: I think the rythm guitars are a bit to loud, the drums (especially the snare) and the harmony guitars should be a bit more upfront and I can't really make out the bass (it seems to be absorbed in the guitar sound), but I don't no if that's a bad thing in this case.

Thanx for the info man! what kinda samples etc did you use for drums then? Did you program the drums (DFH, Drumagog or something)? Or real drums recorded with triggers? I am curious because I seriously need this kinda kick, snare, toms samples.....

thanks for the input guys
i think it is a bit dull too but recording real overheads i think will help
emphasizing these freqs cause now they are crap

the drums are programmed in sonar by hand - i know thats i bit crazy :err: to do but i ve been doing it for a while and it more sufficient for me

drums samples are RY20 drum machine mixed with real drums
hhat is slayers sound i dont remember the name of the track
i think its from diabolus in musica :kickass:
