Has anyone used this yet? I just got the email notification, and I guess the upgrade is $129. Looks like they added time correction, which could be VERY useful. Here's a link:

Auto-Tune has per-note controls for vibrato, retune speed, and throat length. Or were you talking about something else?

No that's what I was talking about. I must be mistaken, I only saw the 'vibrato', etc. controls down the bottom.

but usually companies like to make their newer products actually look new.

haha ok with joking aside, why do car companies change the design of the same car every year?
I guess what I'm trying to say is, "cooler" looking plugins are more appealing to the ordinary person. especially AT because so many random people who know nothing about recording would buy it just so they can sound like TPain

Don't wanna to still this thread, but just a quick question - how much is VariAudio competitive with Melodyne or AutoTune? I've only used it for minor tweaks, and it's cool. But how does it stand against these two if you use it for advanced editing?

It sucks ass. Like it literally does not tune stuff nearly as well - you can tune with Vari-Audio, open in Melodyne/AT, and you'll still want to tune more.
