Right, CTE is the highest charting out of all of 'em, but it was lame ass Billy Ray Cyrus' Achey Breaky Heart that kept Countdown outta #1, I believe. I saw that Behind the music on Megadeth, and if I remember correctley Mustaine talks about it.

It's amazing how Pantera came right out and took over Slayer, Thrax and Mega in sales.( sfter they signed to a major label of course)..I remember Far Beyond Driven Debuting at #1 ...probobly ther HEAVIEST #1 album ever....right in tthe middle of the "grunge" craze..Pantera had some buzz/fanbase!!

thats actually how i found out about pantera, didnt have acess to internet in those days and rarely found any good mags with any stories on pantera,i thought if fbd has gone number one and by that time i new they were metal i thought what the heck i may as well check it out, blew my fucking mind away, there will never be a heavier album that went to no 1 in three diff countries simultaneously again, for me only slipknot debut on roadrunner matched the aggresiveness and chaotic sound that fbd had.

That was like post-New Kids on the Block. Didn't Soundgarden win a Grammy that year? For an album like that to get 3 Number ones during that time is crazy!
