Anthrax on TV (UK) Tonight

This show was on Monday 13th June after the weekend of the Download festival at Donington and then the Gods of Metal in Italy and was at the London Astoria.

So firstly look at the travel schedule!!!

Saturday 11th June
Play Donington 4pm
Leave Donington 10pm
Go to Nottingham Hotel for shower etc
Midnight - Drive to Gatwick airport
Sunday 12th June
6.30a.m Check in at Gatwick airport for 8am flight to Bologna
Drive to Gods of Metal festival
Play Gods of Metal Festival on completely borrowed gear - the crew have to work like complete cunts to get all this to happen and to work!!!
Stay in Italian Hotel
Go to Bologna to check in a 7a.m. for 9 a.m. flight to UK
Go to Metal Hammer Awards night
Do 4 songs - Got the Time,Indians, Caught in Mosh, Another level with Brian from Shadows fall;

Go to aftershow party and have a few ( OK a lot of beers)
Go to bed at about 3am
Go to Heathrow for flight to Valencia at 10a.m

And everyone thinks touring is glamorous

Fuck Yeah!!!

Dont know what footage is on the show tonight - we will have to wait and see - but if they show Valo or whatever his name is from HIM getting his award then you better have your umbrella ready!!!
 
of course my flat has crap for tv look like around midnight i might have to go around to all the girls rooms and see if they got that channel since for some odd reason different rooms have different stations hopefully I can catch this

Hey I saw this! I missed the first part & feared I’d already missed Anthrax, then at the end of the show they won the award for Best Metal Band 2005 & played Caught In A Mosh & Indians! Hooray.

Now the hard part..... sharing the love with the NFMB folk. Any chance of getting it out there?
 
Hmmmm, I have to admit I'm not really sure how to convert video to electronic file formats.

Any ideas, anyone?????
 
i thto caught in a mosh was ok but not the best song for a live showing cos belladonna sounded a wee bit wierd at points as he doesnt actually sing much in the song more just chanty speaking.his scream in the middle was good tho!!! indians was immense tho i thot! scott demanded a circle pit and he got one for the almighty "WWAAAAAAAAAAAARDANCE!" ahem so yeah it was good!
 
Hmmmm, there is a free dvd with MH this month which features Anthrax. I'm sure it will be footage of the Golden Gods. Would the dvd be easier to post for our buds across the atlantic. I may not be the best person to attempt this though as i struggle opening my e-mail.
 
I saw it, was nice to see ITV covering this event as much as I still don't understand what the point of it was!? Just seemed like pointless awards to slap those that had had bothered to turn up on the back. Anyway.. Anthrax were great, I secretly hoped they'd play something from SOE or POT but hey.. you can't have everything.
