who else went?? what sucks is that the crowd turnout wasnt that good. But Anthrax still put on a hell of a show!

Wow! I'm surprised by the attendance considering every Anthrax shows I've been to have always been packed. I had planned on going to that show, but I couldn't make it. Tonight I'll be in Killeen though. It will rock!

well, I say there had to have been at least 170-250 people there. I was shocked, cause I got there just in time to see Anthrax, and I thought that the parking lot would be full. and I saw plenty of empty spaces.

Yeah, the attendance didn't do justice to the band, but you have to give it to them for still putting on a badass show regardless of numbers!

In my personal opinion, promotion could have been a little better, coupled with the Spurs game and the Motorhead/ticketmaster thing. I think maybe promotion was the biggest problem.. the venue didn't even know we were on the bill until I called them to tell them an hour before the show. They were telling people who called that it was "Anthrax and a local band called Ariel" (its Uriel).

They put on a great show though!!!!!! John Bush told me they should have played the White Rabbit... but there are no more metal bands playing there with their new format change. Angerkill has our last two shows there and then no more metal - it's now "college rock"

I was very glad Anthrax headlined in Killeen. My friend told me if she had known Motorhead had cancelled, we could've tried to make it to the San Antonio show. I am not a fan of Motorhead, but I don't dislike them. I much rather see Anthrax headlining. Besides, they don't really need to be openers anymore. :)
