Anthrax who cares?!

Anthrax was the shit in the 80s. But I officially stopped caring when they started releasing more live albums and compilations than new music...they've had what, 2 new records in the last decade?

anthrax are one of the worst bands ever, id actually rather listen to fucking shakira than that shit

theyre offensively jewish, if woody allen was a songwriter rather than a whining paedophile hed write something like among the living

Well, there seems to be no middle ground with you when rating an artist. You either hate them & hope they die torturesome deaths or you love them & think they're the best band ever.

Used to love Anthrax back in the day, POT is a great album, but after they fired Joey and attempted to adopt a more "grungier" tone with SOWN I lost interest. I think its sad that Scott Ian tries to copy Dimebag the way he does, kinda surprised he doesnt endorse Dean. They are trying so hard to stay current and "cool"-going so far as trying to get Corey Taylor to sing for them. They are a pathetic shell of what they were, and at this point killing their legacy. Call it a day already

It was enough for me to see their faces and pentangles with unreasoned using never to listen to their music and not to interest by them at all.

I don't know what you're trying to say here, but I agree with it.

I've only heard Fistful of Metal and Spreading The Disease. Spreading was decent, Fistful sucked. For some reason both were really quiet. Like, I have to play them at max volume in order to be able to hear it. For that reason, I never really listened to it to much. Neither were particularly interesting. Apparently they've gone downhill in recent years. I honestly don't see why they get to be part of the big four of thrash metal. Metal Church was always a lot better.

Tricky this, as I have enjoyed Anthrax a lot through the years - I have all of their albums, and I even enjoyed stuff like Vol. 8. I liked the Bush era stuff, principally because John Bush had a great voice, and for the drum performance.

I also really enjoyed the reunion gigs that I went to, even though it was apparent that the band really weren't gelling at all - Ian and Benante were clearly not digging Belladonna or Spitz to any great degree.

That being said, the ongoing rape of the fans cash with the pitiful fan club, the ongoing e-drama and blabbermouth announcements and the never-ending speculation on who is going to be the new singer leave me very frustrated with the band - especially as "We've Come for you all" was a pretty enjoyable meat-and-potatoes modern metal album.

Anthrax - just give it up. Please.

Testament should have been in Anthrax's spot in the big four.

Who cares any more? Even the die hards like me who have bought all their albums - even Vol. 8 and Stomp 442 - just do not give a flying fuck any more.
They fucked over Bush good style, and all in the name of $$$.

Fuck Scott and Charlie. Fuck em both.

Fuck the middle east.
