Any Buffy the Vampire Slayer Fans?

Well, Firefly would be the greatest show EVER, if there was more than one season.

Ah, but he only wrote it, and it was out of his hands after that. And he knows it sucks. In regards to directing Serenity he said he had to direct because "The next time someone ruins one of my scripts its going to be me." So it's really not his fault, and if anything, the few good moments are probably his fault (re: dialogue).

I thought the writing was atrocious, is the key point here (re: entire plot). I thoroughly enjoyed the movie visually.

I'd be curious to see the original script. My guess is they messed with it a whole lot. Whatever they did though apparently they butchered it.

I think Joss hit his creative verve with firefly and serenity. Buffy was, for me, completley vacant and incredibly poor when one looked beyond the superficial vampire slayer plot. The character relations were one dimensional and mostly contrived.
