Any Dub Trio fans??

I absolutely worship their album Another Sound is Dying. So heavy and groovy and the production is awesome. Sick sounds all around.

Love that bass guitar sound at 1:07, at the part that kicks in at 3:09 is so damned heavy:

I'd dig these guys more if they dubbed out with more regularity and actually played really awesome dub.
It's like they dig the production aspects of dub but can't really play dub very well.

Maybe I'm focusing too much on the dub aspects of their sound but from a band named "dub trio" it's to be expected, right?
I dig their heavy side a lot, but if it was balanced out with REALLY AWESOME DUB rather than fairly average dub they'd be a really awesome band.

at first i was just kinda like eh its not bad.. i was just looking at some pictures and zoning out. and then that heavy part kicked in! good zoning out music.

a band name doesn't have to describe the sound. They don't HAVE to play dub all the time. When they do, they do it well. AND they can pull it all off live.
