is it me or is this circuit laid out weirdly?
I'm mainly talking about the 47k resistor at the top I can't tell if it's connected to the 2nd or 6th pin of the chip :yell:

I've got everything else wired out correctly I think

4 - ground
7 - positive supply
6 - 100k resistor connecting to the 3rd pin
3 - 10k resistor down to ground
2 - ??

Also I'm not sure about the placement of the capacitor is that also connected to the 2nd pin?

sorry for the noob post but alot of the other circuits im looking at have a simpler layout but alot more components so either way they're both hard to understand

R2 is connected directly to pin 6 of the IC and then to pin 3 of R1. Pin 2 of the IC is then connected directly to pins 1 and 2 of R1 as well as the + leg of C1. Also, pin 4 isn't connected to ground, it's taking in -9Vdc.

that circuit it laid out exactly correct. Its going to look weird because it utilizes forward feedback and not negative feedback. Pin 4 needs -9vdc to function, you will need a dual channel PSU or a craft circuit using two 9v batteries.

R2 goes to pin 6. R3 connects pin 6 to pin 3, R4 connects pin 3 to ground. Pin 2 is connected to the 2.5M pot (R1) and also connected to C1.
