Title explains it. Kontakt instruments work, or any good plugins for Logic to do electronic/techno drums. Preferably free.
Thanks!

I've been playing with SoftDrum, it's free and seems to work pretty good so far. It's a VST plugin, MIDI based...

12 pads, each pad plays up to 4 separate samples which are chosen based on velocity, up to 16 voices simultaneously per pad (or 192 total simultaneous voices at most) so you don't have to worry about sounds getting "chopped off" during a drum roll or fill or something. Separate volume controls, pitch correction, you can group pads with each other so their own sounds can't interfere with other sounds in that same group.. so far it seems decent for being totally free.

Go with "electronic ezx" from toontrack, It comes with many of the famous 808 and 909 samples. You can also try the new one Toontrack released which is called "Number 1 Hits"

Another great place for some awesome electronic samples would be the Vengeance samples.

Not free but they're pretty cheap if you ask me, plus they sound great.

Go for some Goldbaby samples, they're the first you have to have, and use daily on today big electro/hiphop production.

try some of his free stuff, and go buy his Tape808 (the best 808 kit ever) and his Tape Drum Machines Vol 2 (with a linndrum), and your set with pro samples.

And they are cheap like 30 bucks each, for the real sound on tape.

If you want more, but cost more $, go see Urban electro and Hit Kit 3.

With that three website you have the best samples available today.

There is a DSK little drummachine vst including all samples for dozens of well known electronic drums from the 80/90s, which is pretty handy cause you just have to select kits, and it's a vsti on its own.

EDIT : the urban electro library sounds pretty sweet.
