1. Vio-lence is back together. They've been back together since their first live performance at Chuck Billy's Thrash of the Titans benefit in 2001. I was there. It was fucking awesome. I've loved them for years. I took my nickname from one of their songs.
2. They have recorded a new album of studio material. It is coming out this
summer 2004.
3. They are releasing the Live DVD based on their show at Slims in SF in Dec. 2001.
4. They are re-releasing their first record "The Eternal Nightmare" with a couple
of songs not released on the record.
5. They re-released "Oppressing the Masses" and the "Torture Tactics" EP on
a combined disc back in Oct and changed the cover art. the new art IMO
is lame.
6. Phil Demmel, currently in Machine Head, still plans on working with
Vio-Lence when MH is not in the middle of any tours or projects.
And as mentioned, they are releasing a live album.
