Just wondering if there are any LA Guns fans on this board? I've just acquired their new album Tales From The Strip and it's pretty damn good. Some great guitar work and even a drum solo on a studio album! :headbang:

Yeah, I got "Cocked and Loaded" recently and it's really good..gonna buy their first one soon..excellent, highly underrated live act too by the way.
I saw them open for Wasp a couple months ago. Even though L.A. Guns usually only gets about a half hour to forty minutes per set, they MAKE you remember them..

Yeah I like the Guns is Phil Lews still there vocalist? I heard a song off there previous album pretty damn good

Do you like or ever heard of Lynch Mob?

Can't say I've heard anything by them RicknRoll. Are they any good? Who would you compare them to?
Phil Lewis is indeed still singing for LA Guns. They did a covers album last year that had Wheels of Steel on it. Their new album rocks.

You've heard of Dokken? it's the former guitar player George Lynchs solo band can't say who I can compare them to, you would have to judge for your self there first Album 'Wicked Sensation' is killer not a bad track on it if you ask me the second one has it's moments they changed vocalist on this still it is good if only for Georges playing

I don't think I've heard that much of LA Guns stuff, so not too sure what they're like - but my friend who lives in Belfast is seeing them next month on the 15h October at the Rosetta Bar, Belfast. I would imagine if they're playing Ireland, they might also play some dates in England, so you might get to see them Bert. I think I'll see if I can download a few songs cos I'm curious now, maybe I have heard some of their songs but just didn't know it was them.

Princess, you'll remember their singer surely. Phil Lewis who sang with Girl in the early '80s. They supported UFO,Kiss,Pat Travers..etc. Mr Lewis was also reputed to have had a 'thing' with Britt Ekland and Natassia Kinski. Their latest album is a return to form after a couple of mediocre ones. They are indeed touring UK and I'll probably be going to Bradford and Stoke. My team are away at Port Vale on the same day as the Stoke gig. How lucky is that? :hotjump:

LOl my memory is definitely getting worst. Guess what Bert, I've seen Girl. I saw them at Reading Festival one year, I think it was the same year that Iron Maiden were playing but I've no recollection of seeing Maiden there but I definitely remember seeing Girl, think they came on before or after Krokus. Yeah they were ok, didn't realise though that Phil Lewis was LA Guns singer. I need to check out the dates then and see if they are playing in Glasgow cos I wouldn't mind seeing LA Guns then.
