Just discovered this band lately.
Awesome stuff, I really like this song lately.

Check it out, if you're ignorant like I was before, this band probably influenced more bands and genres than 99% of the other bands out there.

That album's got some good tracks on it. Check out their previous album as well (Killing Joke), Dave Grohl plays drums on it. A fav of mine from that album is Asteroid.

EDIT: There are actually 2 albums called "Killing Joke": Their debut (released in like 1980 or something) and the "Dave Grohl" album.

And from one of their 80' albums, the song they're probably most well known for: Love Like Blood.

Thanks for the information, both are good songs :D though there's something I absolutely love about the ambience in Hosannas From The Basements Of Hell that I don't totally find on the other two.

That's what I read too, some say Dave Grohl didn't want to be paid in respect for the band (which was a major Nirvana influence) on the 2003 Killing Joke self-titled album, but some say also he didn't want to be paid because he feels sorry Nirvana "stole" that riff. :D

I will go ahead and go out on a limb here and claim to be the biggest Killing Joke fan on this here forum! My wife will testify in my behalf as well, as I irritate the shit out of her because I play them so often. Geordie Walker is a fucking hero on guitar for me. I love all their material, but I am especially partial to "Extremities, Dirt & Various Repressed Emotions". From start to finish that album is brilliant. Their newer heavier stuff is pretty cool, but not nearly as adventurous as their older stuff.
This song here is a great example of some their "more recent" work that I dig. The video clip from 2001 A Space Odyssey goes along great with it.

Yeah, for me, that album is like a return to their earlier sound: tons of reverb on everything.

Sinton : Yeah, it sounds deliciously lo-fi! :D It was actually recorded in live settings in the basement of a studio.
And Splatt88, I never heard this song before, really ace, and that was a B-Side? :)

I haven't heard that term used since I was a kid :)

Well I'm a kid :D
After listening to many Killing Joke CDs, I think Pandemonium and Hosannas are where it's at. I loved 'em all though, their sound really changed while still staying unmistakably original.
