Any Meshuggah fans here?

Of course!! The almighty Meshuggah :notworthy
Tomas Haake is a god.
They are some kind of Phenomenon like Opeth, but different... I mean every single song they wrote is perfect the way it is...
This is music in it´s most progressive moment!

Thanks for sharing this interview btw., but I`d really like to read or see an Interview with Fredrik Thordendal... I wonder if this will ever happen...

Meshuggah is far from the most progressive band in any sense of the word.

I listened to obzen quite a lot and while it truly has its moments I think that mesuggah sounds really monotonous. I think the growls sound all the same (call me an idiot, im trying to explain here) and some riffs are really brilliant but then as a whole, all the guitars sound the same

they're certainly in a realm of their own and they may not be the most "progressive" band, but they definitely have a sound that no one can come close to.

meshuggah owns eos, but i find i have to be in a specific mood to fully enjoy them. that, or stoned.
