I recently moved here from the US.
My French needs improvement, and I am terrible at Dutch, but I am learning dutifully because I love this place and its people.
Anyway, I need to continue making music. I am a drummer and a vocalist, and I dabble in some ambient / folk instrumentation as well.
I currently only have an electronic drum kit (the real kit was too expensive to ship internationally) but will change that if I find a band to practice with.
I've mostly been in black metal bands in the past, and have plenty of experience playing live. I would love to try different genres for a change.
Videos / music samples are available upon request.
I'm interested in the following options:
Black metal (Horna, Ruins of Beverast, Satyricon, etc.)
Doom metal (Reverend Bizarre, Solitude Aeternus)
Folk Metal (Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow)
Gothic / Symphonic metal (Sirenia, old Nightwish)
Power Metal (Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius)
Let me know if you are looking for a vocalist or drummer. At the very least, though, I would like to meet metalheads in the area.
Cheers.
