they don't have to be blasting, godfucked NEVERMORE TYPE...estoric leanings.

CHEERS!!!

cheers, mate!

Katatonia - has three tracks floating around on the net from the newie thats not yet out. IMO far superior to anything they've done since the old days. check 'em out if you come across them..

definitely not a new band, or all that new an album now really, but the latest Flaming Lips -
yoshimi battles the pink robots. ...
is top notch

Try evanescence. Its really cool. The girl singer is one of the most incredible voice i have ever heard. She is comparable to Tarja from Nightwish, but much better. The stuff is just rock in general. There is a guy who does backup for one song that sounds a lot like linkin park, but she makes up for it. The music is alright, but again, she is what puts them over the top.

The Cranes "Future Songs" I recommend, dark and excellent.

Akercocke "Goat of Mendez" nice satanic, porographic death metal with a great vibe.

Cephalic Carange I already recommended, you seemed to dig that.

Nekromantix "Return of the Loving Dead" Psychobilly with a gothic vibe.

Check 'em out.

hmm....
Time Requiem (formed by ex-Majestic keyboard player, I didn't care for Majestic, but a lot of people did, anyway, they are better than Majestic)
Scholomance (technical, brutal, great)
Forlorn (not really new new, well, I don't know how to describe them. They are heavy but soft. You may not like them though if you can't stand Dimmu Borgir style metal.)
Andromeda (They've only released 2 cds, so they are pretty new. Very good, I would suggest their newest one, II=1.)
Wolverine (up and coming progressive metal. Look out for them in the future.)
Madder Mortem (very different. They have a female singer, but don't think that that makes them like every other goth/doom metal band with female vocals. No, she screeches, whispers, etc.)
Pagan's Mind (another up and coming progressive metal band.)
Mental Home (The End Records calls them Atmospheric Dark Doom Metal. Check out Black Art.)
Winds (not enough people know about WINDS. Get with the program and get Reflections of the I, now.)
Virgin Black (wow, are there words to even describe something this unique.................................................nope, no words can describe it.)
Man, I'm getting tired of typing. There are a lot of bands though, a lot.

I have not heard them, but they get alot of news...you want the intereviews with em...

edge of sanity are damn fine as well....

Cephalic Carange are 10/10 thanks pal...
