For some reason my IR-1 doesn't show up now and my platinum bundle (which hasn't been working since..oh...version 4) is all showing up! What the hell did I do? I just installed the demo per their instructions and now my main verb shows up like it's not authorized!! and it's on my ILOK!

Got them yesterday We've been using Metric Halos' Channel Strip (Awesome Plug-in), but WOW.. these SSL plug-ins are nice. Pre sets are good to work off of-----> rack tom/ floor tom/ snare/ kick/ overheada/ strings ....alot of them. And that master buss comp KILLS!!!!! Luckily I have a strong computer and can throw a poop load of these plug-ins on tracks! Try the demo and get hooked

Is the demo fully functional? Or is one that adds noise (pops, clicks, beeps) to your track if you try to render it with the plug? If it's fully functional and only on a time expiration then I would love to try it out.

gotta admit, I'm impressed also. I actually dialed a snare in and hit the snare preset and the knobs hardly moved, which was odd but guess I was in the "right" place.

Have yet to try it next to the SSL G channels I have here, but its definately got the character.

I'm anxious to give this one a shot, probably because I'm not used to Waves releasing plugins that add that analog punch. I love the Rennaissance series, I just always wished they would put out something of that quality to really beef up tracks instead of working transparently and flawlessly, and they seem to have done it here.

so I just A/B'd the G channel eq against a real one, character seems pretty good but gain seems different, you have to crank the gain on the actual ssl more than you do on actual plug in, anyone else got an ssl knockin around to compare?

Hehehehe.... me house probably doesn't cost as much as a SSL board Hey Andy how does the master buss comp compare to the 'real deal'? It really glues things together here. Better than the McDsp plug-ins I use to use did. AC1.

They are close to the real thing, u can hear it from the first snare hit. Master buss comp and best gate ITB ever. I used Massenburg eq so far a lot, but the ssl waves got some analog balls, fo sure.
