Any Simpsons fans here??

I just love´em, basically, this is the only thing i watch on Tv aside from movies and random stuff. also, the second thing a consider myself a fan (first is Metal Of course )

Do you guys like the show??

I haven't watched it in ages, and I'm not a big enough fan to know when the best seasons were or what my favorite episodes are, but I love the show and I've seen tons of random episodes. Now South Park, on the other hand, is a show I know pretty much word for word, but I love the Simpsons too

Yeah, i also love Family guy and South Park, the jokes on family guy are just insane, i can´t stop laugh when i watch those shows, i think the writers on Family guy are so influenced by the 80´s the jokes somtimes are based on 80´s characters like G.i Joe or Transformers.

But i still love more the simpson, because i watched them since i was a kid, the best seasons i think are the third, fourth and fifth.

Simpsons is the best, and I have to convince so many people that its better than Family Guy.

Simpsons you can watch over and over and discover new things that you didn't notice before, whearas family guy is more laugh out loud once the first time you see it and then after that its not really the same. Simpsons has some unreal quotes in it, anything from season 3 up to around 10 is good, and some classic episodes (but also some questionable ones) from 11 and 12. After that, things aren't so great. I was watching the episode "You Only Move Twice" and forgot what a legend Hank Scorpio is, what a hero.

Yeah, thats totally true!!, 10 years later i´m discovering new things between jokes and new cool qoutes, there is a lot hidden too. Dude i fucking love that Episode, definitely one of the best, i want a boss like Hank Scorpio!! he takes the time to talk to you, no matter if he is battling with the Army, he sit and talk a bout your concerns, Lol.

Im really liking new seasons, like they are returning to the humor they used to have but with contemporary sense.

They change the poeple who do the voices in spanish here in Mexico, that was like four years ago, so people are just getting used again to the new voices, which are so funny too.

What are your favorite Character?? mine aside Homer, is Chief Wiggum and Milhouse.

Back in school, my video & film production class (a required course) was on Thursday nights...Simpsons night (long time ago). But we usually made time to take a break and have the whole class watch The Simpsons together. LOL

Completely agree with you on Wiggum and Milhouse. I'd also add Seymour Skinner to that list, very much as classic as Chief Wiggum.

simpsons rule!!! i do prefer the older ones however. I've had the Doctor Zaius song in my head for days. I hate every ape is see, from chimpan-a to chimpan-z. Best song ever

That Lego intro is cool!! the is also an intro made with real people, is Awesome.
That episode (the simpson spinoff showcase) is a favorite too. the parodies are so funny, and the "Parodies inside a parody" thing is priceless. my favorite there is "Chief Wiggum P.I."
One think i also love about the simpson is how well they manage the music, i mean they know what song fits perfectly into a situation, like when homer was fighting to Tatum, tatum has some Hip-Hop and Homer entrance song was "Why can´t we be friends" but the Original.

I liked the movie, is like a big episode, it has some nice moments, i was skceptical first, but then i watched it an like it a lot.

There is a lot i can´t talk about this haha, so many good qoutes (basically for everything you can found a good simpson quote) or simpson moments.

Yeah, I also prefer family guy and futurama to simpsons but it's still a great show. South park is my least favorite of the bunch...I still watch it occasionally...

I love The simpsons (the old series maybe till 7-8 years ago) and now I love futurama (from old to new stuff... everything ) Family guy and of course South Park.

I forgot Futurama, i love it!!!
The humor they got is wacky, they had to invent 1000 years of history to made jokes about it (Like the second coming of Jesus, or the Super Villian President of the Earth).

Still all those shows live in the shadow of The Simpsons, Lol
