well I this problems , specially with programmed drums
my oh tracks have realy weak sustain and that realy bums me out.. Im using waves api2500 comp and it helps but pumps it in same time..

also my oh tracks sounds like every crash is realy far from another - like crash left is hard left and crash right is hard right .. how I make that it will sound like the left crash bleed into right pan and the same with the right crash ? and panning more close the oh make them sound like its in a realy small room..

any tips?

With real cymbals the best way to do that is to get the cymbals that you actually want, that decay in the way and for the amount of time that you want.

For programmed drums... get another cymbal pack. Failing that, try the Transient Designer 'sustain' portion and see if it helps. Will give you sustain without the artifacts of compression.

set up a group. smack the living shit out of it (parallel compressing) and insert an impulse verb with a nice room you like. blend to taste.
