I saw Opeth on Friday night...excellent show. For a band that barely shows any movement on stage, they sure had the crowd enraptured...

opeth play amazingly on stage. and if it wasn't for the LOA show i would totally have gone. but i wanted to pay my money to see a band i really wanted to see.

of course now someone will probably try to insinuate that i hate opeth.

i like them alot but i have seen them a couple times over the past year and wanted to see something different.

I tried to go but being under 18 and having an authoritarian catholic mother stopped me (I even had plans to go with two friends for at least a month, but my mom researched it thoroughly for an hour and "did you know they are a DEATH BAND? and bands like that have suicide concerts where people kill themselves on stage, and their fans are horrible people that swear a lot and say things like "god damn" and "f-ing"" oh yeah, the music is also going to "seep into your brain and control your mind")

I was at the show in Toronto, good times, good times. I love Opeth live. Moonspell put on a great show too, highly enjoyable.
