Love, Love LOVE these two bands!! Great bands featuring Ian Tafoya on guitars. Pretty popular at the time and far ahead of their time as well.

I saw Cyclone Temple open for Twisted Sister (along with the equally awesome but long defunct Wicked Maraya) about 15 years ago. No idea what happened to the CD I had...

DUDE. Cyclone Temple is one of my FAVORITE bands EVER. i REALLY want to reissue the stuff after the debut in a new package. the debut is one of the most underrated thrash albums of ALL TIME. ALL TIME.

I Hate Therefore I Am is one of the best thrash albums ever. The later ones not so much. I would have publicly pleasures myself at the idea of seeing Cyclone Temple and Wicked Maraya on he same bill, lol

i saw CT once, luckily at a place called Ziggy's. i don't even remember who they were opening for because i left after they were done.

there is no better intro to a thrash CD than the first few minutes of IHTIA, period. i tried to have my band rip it off, but they weren't into the passion i had for it. that shit makes me want to get nuts.

Wow, obscure. I remember that video for 'Words are just words'. Used to see it all the time back in the day. Always liked it.

Yeah so glad they did!!! The only ones that were not were the last two Cyclone Temple releases. They both are pretty awesome but hard to find. If you ever come across them they are "Building Errors in The Machine" and "My Friend Lonely".

I have them, just went to the rack to check it gets that way sometimes.
'Building Errors' was the first one I ever got several years back. I have yet to see it again or 'My Friend Lonely'...Maybe Matt should look into these?

Wicked Maraya, so someone else does know that band. Talk about an underrated album their first was pretty badass. The other two not so "Wicked".

I saw that tour with Cyclone Temple and Wicked Maraya. Wicked Maraya were GREAT! Wasn't that their "Cycles" album? I also seem to remember them being on Mausoleum Records, the same label as Joey Belladonnas first solo disc. Those bands opened up for Dee Sniders band Widowmaker (Remember them?) with Al Pitrelli and Joe Franco! at a place here in Chicago called Bedocks on Roscoe. Anyone from Chicago remember that place!?

I saw this tour at Jaxx in Springfield, awesome show. Cycles was my top album from 1994. I still play it regularly today.

I saw Cyclone Temple one time before that, opening for a local band here in the D.C. area. Apparently they were on their way to a big festival in Europe, and did a one off warm up show.

Wicked Maraya.....Cycles is one of my top 25 CDs ever. I rank it up there with Mindcrime and stuff like that. Lou Falco actually lives in Atlanta and we email occasionally. He came out and saw HW a while back, super nice guy. He sings for a cover band here in town called Audiocage. Back in the day, he mailed my wife and I free t-shirts, and like 3 copies of "No Hope For Humanity" for free because we were such huge fans. I actually love the 2nd album as well, it's different but it clicked for me.

And CT's "I Hate" is such a great CD, the music is just brutal but the singer really took it over the top for me.

Both bands were criminally underrated.

J, too funny that we're clicking like this, Metal Church, WM, CT....

I Hate Therefore I Am is my favorite thrash album ever. I have both the follow ups and unfortunately neither the songs nor the singers live up to the first. I recently got the reissued Shooting Hemlock album (with the IHTIA singer Brian Troch along with Joe Stump) and it was kinda disappointing too. I guess they caught lightning in a bottle during those sessions and couldn't find it again.

HAHA why is that? Understand man O hold nothing personally against anyone. I only call things the I see it and often say what others won't or don't have the balls to. If people don't like it then that is their problem not mine. But I don't hold people's issues or problems against them. It is a goddamn forum, to many people take it way too seriously.
That being said I have no beef with any of you guys. On that note I look forward to pissing you off in the future;)
As for these bands well it is good stuff. And you are right or at least I find it strange because not many folks in this forum seem to talk about or care about bands I'm into. I would have thought if I mentioned Wicked Maraya that would go over everyone's head. Then if Glenn ever mentioned them most of these people here would then break their necks to find out who WM are (put it like it is). HAHA.
