Anyone change guitar patches live via midi?

With all the threads about live samples (with click) some of you have to be changing guitar patches via midi as well. Anyone have any input on this?

Its reasonably simple from what I've seen as long as you have the right gear. Never done it myself but know people who have done.

I do it with a sansamp and a g-major

I use a Voodoo Labs Commander to control two of their Pedal Switchers. Works great!

We play live to click and the laptop does your patch changes. Using Pro Tools live.

You just setup a MIDI track within your daw and have it sent the number/note that corresponds with the patch on amp? What interface are you guys using? Or do you have a separate MIDI interface as well?

we´re doing it live as well. midi track in nuendo controls the patch changes in our g-majors. midi interface is a midi sport or something i guess.
don´t know exactly ´cause it´s our drummers notebook.
but i still have a midi footpedal ´cause i don´t trust midi.
midi is a bitch!
