Anyone dig R.EM.?

New album "Accelerate" drops on Tuesdsay and I must say the single "Supernatural Superserious" is damn good. Sounds like what you'd expect from them, but is that a bad thing? They've always been consistant with releasing good material. Everyone knows the greats like "It's the End of the World", "Losing My Religion" but I'd say my favorite song of theirs is "Half a World Away". The somber nature of the song, and the way its written always gets to me. Any other fans?

ive only listened to small amounts of rem, mostly what you'd hear on the radio. its all listenable, but ive just never thought to pick up an album when im out searching.

One of the few solid, consistently good alt-pop bands. My favourite album is easily Automatic for the People, beautiful and melancholic. My fave song: 'Try Not to Breathe'.

If your a fan, def. pick up "Accelerate". I've listened to it about 8 times since I got it. Great album.

I fucking love REM! One of the bands I grew up listening to, albums like "Monster" and "Automatic for the People" are very close to me for this reason. "Green" and "Document" are also fantastic albums. My parents are big fans and I got into the band through them, haven't heard a song I haven't liked.
