I'm sitting here for hours and my ears are like shit
right now but nonetheless I can't seem to get a decent
tone out of Revalver.
For whatever reason, a single guitar doesn't seem thick
enough, even not when quad tracked.
Here's a short (sloppy) raw test riff soloed with no processing at all:

Here's a screen of the settings:

Anything utterly wrong with that besides "too much gain"?
I believe the input signal isn't strong enough but it's just a guess, my chain is as follows:
ESP LTD with EMG 81s (active) -> Maxon OD808 -> M-Audio Audiophile 2496 (interface) -> Revalver MKII w. Guitarhacks louder impulses and the Wagner Sharp Host.
Anything wrong with that?
Maybe an active DI-Box in between there would do the trick? Should I buy one to raise the input there?
ANY help appreciated cause I'm totally lost here uke:
