I know you asked winter-frost but for me it was worse than expected.
I don#t know, it's not bad but its not good either.
Some parts are pretty cool, like one part which reminds me of the "Neverending Story", but it#s too much 80's for me I think.

I actually enjoyed the Star One-album more than his recent creations (e.g. "Flight of the Migrator"), although it wasn´t up to par with "The Final Experiment" and "Into the Electric Castle". You can´t really go wrong with a song like "Intergalactic Space Crusaders" though.

Well I didn't really have any expectations. I think its a pretty solid album, heavier version of Ayreon. I have only listened to it a few times so its to early to compare it to Ayreon. Russel Allen really stands out on this album, I have never been able to listen to Symphony X but for some reason I can tolerate his vocals on Space Metal. And of course Dan's vocals are completely cool! So far stand out songs are "High Moon" "Intergalactic Space Crusaders" and "The Eye of Ra".
