This is my first post but I have been lurking around this forum some time now. I decided to post here due to a certain issue that I feel is very important. It is about the future of computers and the future of internet which seems to be taking a drastical turn towards a less freedom filled computer experience. Check this link out to see what I mean:

Please help spread this information, it is important to enlighten as many as possible about this issue!!!

That’s frightening, I honestly never thought I’d be proved too naive in my thinking that the Internet is the one untouchable medium.

*bump*

Granted there's more important issues in our world, but I'm still surprised no one has commented on this.

I attended a speech today given by Richard Stallman, founder of the GNU Project and Free Software Foundation, and he spoke a bit about this. Incredibly scary stuff. It's so sad the extent of which greed has overtaken those associated with information technologies :(
But anyway, these corporations aren't going to be able to take everything away...they're will always be a huge resistance, because it is a terrible injustice what they want to do to the free flow of information.
