Came today in the post. Got back from work an hour ago and listened to it 4 times through! its brutal as f*ck! Axe's drumming is superb, no worries for the new Opeth album at all! it was always going to be hard to fill Lopez's shoes but i think he'll be accepted properly when Watershed comes out!
Shame it wasn't a full length album but oh well..........

I'm a bit disappointed of the EP.. the songs don't have any catchy melodies or groove anymore. (missing swanö touch?) It's more like any other mediocre Death Metal band now.

Mike's vocals kick ass though!

The only thing i hated about bloodbath was its annoying melodies. It now has some great chaotic guitar parts and arrangements and catches me by surprise every time i listen. something the old bloodbath didnt do.

Since I've ordered the Bloodbath EP along with the upcoming 5.1 remix of Still Life I guess it won't ship until March 31st. Oh well, I'll wait because I don't want to listen to shitty mp3's instead. This and trying not to hear Heir Apparent until Watershed is actually released will kill me, but hopefully it will be worth the wait.
