Anyone here from the Charlotte, NC area?

So Crown Cases just finished my road case for my Herbert and Bogner.... ANd they decided to tell me now that it will be an extra $399 dollars to ship. I assumed the $1200 price tag included shipping, but I guess not...

Anyway, I can spend $100 on gas round trip and just pick it up myself... SO that's what I will be doing... It's in Charlotte, and I figured I might as well make a vacation out of it. So what is there to do, where should I go, where should I sleep, good clubs/bars/food/etc.... Toss me some ideas!!!

They seemed pretty surprised too, but they said that's what UPS quotes, that's what they have to charge...
