I got a stealthplug this week. Bought it from a dude on ebay.

I can't use it on my laptop, most likely because I need the 64bit drivers. It's working fine on my 32bit machine I'm typing this from.

Only way to get the 64bit driver is to have a user account with IK Multimedia, which requires you to register the product.

Can't register the product because it's registered to someone else. I guess I'll have to pay a 'transfer fee' ($50! after I already paid for the fuckin plug, it'll have been cheaper for me to have bought it new).

Don't even want the goddamn amplitube software, really. Don't want to register it if I don't have to, don't want to pay a fucking fee to transfer the ownership, etc.

Does anyone just have the friggin driver and can send it to me? It's version 1.1.0.9 (I already have 1.1.0.5). I'm not looking for someone to give me a password to use any software. I obviously need the HARDWARE to use the damn driver, so I'm not being unruly. Any help is appreciated. PM me.

In case anyone wants to know what the hell my problem is, the stealthplug I won off ebay wasn't exactly as 'unused' as the dude said it was. He never used the actual stealthplug (no signs of wear on the usb plug), but he registered the goddamn software. I didn't exactly need the software...not digging Amplitube as much as the free amps we've been exposed to on this forum...but I couldn't get on the IK user forums without registering, and I'm not going to pay $50 for a license transfer just to get a driver: ASIO4ALL took care of that. It came with the drivers on the cd, but only for 32bit OS.

Making you have to register to obtain a driver is kinda shitty, IMO. Can't use the driver unless you have the hardware, and not everyone is going to use the software bundles all the time. IK should have their hardware drivers separate from the user forums. I think that would be good of them. :)

So...if you folks ever plan on buying a used Stealthplug, just be cautious of the issues I had here before you do.
