Well, I'm not going to get into the whole global warming debate. That's for another thread if someone wants to start it. But, this hasn't been a very active hurricane season...yet. Although we're just now hitting the peak of the season. Back in '95 or '96 (don't remember), we had 5 named storms in the area at one time. This is just typical hurricane season for the Atlantic. I think it's just getting much more media coverage because hurricanes Katrina & Rita are still fresh on everyone's minds. Just my opinion.

Who are you to say that I shouldn't post? I registered on these forums just like you did to post and to learn more about audio production (for me to learn at least, I don't know if you had prior knowledge when you joined).

So no, I'm not being a dumb ass. Stop derailing the thread by saying pointless shit.

Hahahahahah, Amberience, the memory lingers on - don't worry dudes, this guy is cool, I can vouch for him (we watched Commando together, so that right there is win :D)

as a comedian said.....hurricanes are gods way of getting back at America for slavery.....the come of the coast of Africa and follow the slave ships path and slam into America....but on a serious note, it sux that these things are coming one right after another.

Well...now we have Ike to worry about. Florida got off the hook. But now it has its eyes set right here on Houston. I was around for Alicia, a cat3 back in '83. I don't want to go through that again.
