Wouldn't you like to know
Most of you know I live in Indianapolis and the track is 20 minutes from my apartment. I've been a racing fan since I was a little kid, but moving back to Indiana only intensified my fanhood because we were so close to the track. So I'm curious how many people here are interested in the race?

my aunt lives in Indianapolis, i visited the track in 2003 and saw some cars practicing, it was pretty sweet.

TBH I laughed my ass of the first time I heard it, mainly because there are people in NC that think Dale Earnhardt is , and I quote, "a martyr". I could probably get punched for telling that joke to the wrong people.

Meh, I'm a big F1 fan, but Indy has never excited me... just going round in circles :S
Heh, F1 is kinda cool and all, but most motorsports are a bit of a drag to watch. It is funny with people totally into it. It's look, "shut the fuck up, it is a really critical moment in the race now, I need to see this, it is only 26 laps left!".

This is the best race.

The man could drive, but someone said martyr? Wow.

Yeah, I know a few people that would do more than punch someone for disrespecting #3.

As for F1 and Indy, It's alright. I can watch more of it than NASCAR because at least they go faster. I caught some F1 on Speed channel earlier today, but nothing exciting was going on.

I remember when that danica patrick started racing and everyone was bitching because she had a.. weight advantage.

Speaking of NASCAR briefly, Bill Elliot is gonna try and break his speed record.

NASCAR and Indy never interested me tbh. I attend the NHRA 1/4 mile races every summer down in Joliet and could sit there all day without getting bored. Drag racing is the schiznit.

If there is a commercial on another channel I'll tune in to see if I can witness a crash.
