Anyone know the lyrics to Sunglasses at Night?

Well I've had this song by Corey Heart in my head for over a week and I haven't heard it since I was like 13 or something, does any one know the words, if you do please post'em. All I can remember is the chorus and I can't remember most of that either, just 'I wear my sunglasses at night, I wear my sunglasses at night, so I can, so I can, remember......'. Then it's A total blank from there.

Sunglasses At Night

I wear my sunglasses at night
So I can, So I can
Watch you weave then breathe your story lines

And I wear my sunglasses at night
So I can, So I can
Keep track of visions in my eyes

While she's deceiving me, she cuts my security
Has she got control of me
I turn to her and say

*Chorus*:
Don't switch the blade on the guy in shades; oh no
Don't masquerade with the guy in shades; oh no
You got it made with the guy in shades; oh no

And I wear my sunglasses at night
So I can, So I can
Forget my name while you collect your claim
And I wear my sunglasses at night
So I can, So I can
See the light that's right before my eyes

While she's deceiving me, she cuts my security
Has she got control of me
I turn to her and say

*Chorus*:
Don't switch the blade on the guy in shades; oh no
Don't masquerade with the guy in shades; oh no
You got it made with the guy in shades; oh no

Thanks man.

No problem.... I just did a yahoo search for "Sunglasses at Night" and I copied and pasted. Unfortunately, I now have to play some music (was watching some Olympics) because you got the song stuck in my head now. That 80's pop may not have been very good, but it sure will stick in your head.

You were the girl that changed my world
You were the girl for me
You lit the fuse, I stand accused
You were the first for me
But you turned me out, baby

You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me (But you turned me on, baby)
You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me

You were my thrills, you were my pills
You dropped a bomb on me
You turn me out, you turn me on
You turned me loose, then you turned me wrong

You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me (But you turned me out, baby)
You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me

Just like Adam and Eve, said you?d set me free
You took me to the sky, I?d never been so high
You were my pills, you were my thrills
You were my hope, baby, you were my smoke
You dropped a bomb, hey, babe

You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me (But you turned me out, baby)
You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me (But you turned me on, baby)

You dropped a bomb on me, baby (Mmm)
You dropped a bomb on me (You dropped a bomb on me, baby)
You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me

We were in motion, felt like an ocean
You were the girl for me
You were the first explosion, turned out to be corrosion
You were the first for me
But you turned me out, baby

You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me (Whoa...whoa...oh...oh...baby)
You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me (I won?t forget what you done to me, babe)

You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me
You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me

I-I-I
I-I-I won?t forget it
I-I-I
I-I-I won?t forget it

You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me
You dropped a bomb on me, baby
You dropped a bomb on me

I-I-I
I-I-I won?t forget it
I-I-I
I-I-I won?t forget it

You turned me out, you turned me on
And then you dropped me to the ground
You dropped a bomb on me.

You turned me out, you turned me on
And then you dropped me to the ground
You dropped a bomb on me
You turned me out, you turned me on
And then you dropped me to the ground
You dropped a bomb on me

You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me
You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me

You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me
You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me

You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me
You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me

You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me
You turned me out, then you turned me on
You dropped a bomb on me

Incidentally, SAMMY HAGAR's new best of contains the Rick Springfield track, I'VE DONE EVERYTHING FOR YOU (you've done nothing for me) and it wails!

If I remember right Sammy wrote that song and Rick S covered it. It's on one of Sammy's albums.... Standing Hampton maybe?

I grew up with all that crappy 80s pop music on the radio... so I did what I do today... turned the fucking radio OFF, and listened to my Motorhead, Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, etc... albums (CDs now!)

80s pop was mindless shit... just like 70s pop, 90s pop and 00s pop... :yuk:

Cheers!
:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

That reminds me that there's a Taraxacum song called "Dark Sunglasses" which sounds like a 80's pop/new wave song :)
Maybe it's a tribute to "Sunglasses at Night"...

Which is the best song of that album!

I wear dark sunglasses at night
So I can walk around and hide
The pain that burns so deep inside
I wear dark sunglasses at night

I wear dark sunglasses at night
So I still pretend I'm doin' right
Although My faith and trust have died
I wear dark sunglasses at night

[chorus]

Livin' in the shade, my friend, is like swimming in the sand
I've spend my nights in the neon lights and there ain't no helpin' hand
Maybe now I've reach the end - and when I finally pass away
To take my glasses off - have a drink on me spread my ashes on a
windy day

[solo Eggi] [solo Ferdy]

I wear dark sunglasses at night
I show a smile and a lotta pride
While in my heart the demons fight
I wear dark sunglasses at night

I wear dark sunglasses at night
I did my best - Lord, how I tired
I shut my eyes now open wide
I wear dark sunglasses at night

[chorus]

Livin' in the shade, my friend, is like swimming in the sand
I've spend my nights in the neon lights and there ain't no helpin' hand
Maybe now I've reach the end - and when I finally pass away
To take my glasses off - have a drink on me spread my ashes on a
windy day

I wear dark sunglasses at night
Lost my only love on the other side
Maybe now she's some kinda devil's bride
I wear dark sunglasses at night

I wear dark sunglasses at night
So noone can see the tears I've cried
Maybe I should've booked another fligth
I wear dark sunglasses at night
