I just recieved this on Saturday and it is kicking my ass all over the place. I think I need to go get some Depends. Great disc and cool DVD! Thoughts and Comments?

I take that as a "No" you havent picked it up? I felt that the other thread was more of a "The New Accept is coming out" thread and this being a "its been released what is the consensus" thread/ Also I hadnt seen or heard anything on it in a while.

I just received the limited mailorder edition from NuclearBlast.de today, and I'm loving the hell out of it. The only reason it's not on repeat right now is because the new Unisonic was also in the same box.

Accept is freaking insane. These guys are in their 50's or pushing their 50's (Mark and Stefan are the babies) and they seem to be at their musical peak. I think "Stalingrad" is absolutely indescribably kick-ass, much like "Blood of the Nation" is. If something comes out this year that can blow this thing away, I will probably have to be heavily sedated for the rest of my life. It doesn't get any better than this in my ears.

Stalingrad is terrific, though there isn't a song on this cd that matches the ball-punching power of "Bucketful Of Hate". I'm really sad I missed them last year at PP.

In most ways "Stalingrad" is more consistent than "Blood of the Nations" but there is a little more "fire" in a couple of the songs from BOTN. The new one still rips though.......

It's very good overall, and has several killer songs. It's not quite as good as the last one, which just had so many killer trax, but it's definitely going to get many spins.

Like Saxon, it's amazing how some bands can put out such great music so many years into their careers, yet others keep touring on the same old albums from 20 years ago (or more).
