Anyone using Symphobia?

Is anyone using Project Sam's Symphobia? Is it worth the insane price tag?

I am currently using NI's Komplete ultimate and I am not satisfied with the string libraries. The library demonstations of Symphobia on youtube sound really good. I am after the Chango style string production (The gift of ghosts, Memphis may fire, crown the empire ect).

My only concern is having to deal with the shitty Kontact player, spending in excess of 1k on software that relies on the kontact player is definitely a worry.

Anyone who is using Symphobia, how is the reliability (Especially on the OS X and Pro Tools platform) and is it particularly demanding on your computer?

What are other people's experiences and are there any quality alternatives?

Firstly i would think, is it really worth $1000 for a Orchestral library? If you're just a home producer its probably not worth it, their are a lot of cheaper orchestral vsts that will probably be almost as good. Personally i like Miroslav Philharmonik, but Symphobia is probably better considering its price tag.
