Anyone wanna have a go at my mix ?

There´s this pro studio not far from here and they´re giving recording and mixing classes etc. For the students to have something to work with, they were looking for bands that wanted to record 1 song for free and the students would mix it.

So I went in there with my band, all the instruments were recorded at the same time and in 2 takes, only the vocals were re-recorded with 1 more take afterwards. Here is the final result.. what do you guys think ?

I played an ENGL Fireball and the other guitar played a London City Bulldog 100W tube head. Bass was DI.

Im not that happy with the mix, but the students are still learning and its free so cant expect too much Is there anyone here that wants to have a go at mastering this thing and see if they can make it sound better ?

perhaps u can upload all ur raw tracks drums, guits, bass and vocals individually. Make sure evrything is mono.

Well that´s the problem, all I got is the final file. Thought it would be a nice challenge for you guys to master it

This file isn't ready to be mastered for 2 reasons:

1. Someone already limited the shit out of it, there is no headroom.

2. It's an Mp.3 file uke:

yeah, I know it´s hard on an amateur mastered mp3 but Im wondering to see what you guys can do
