Anyone wanna take a shot at mastering this?

This is a theme I wrote and recorded two months ago. It still hasn't got vocals but I still tried to mix it for fun.

It's recorded with Superior and shitty amp sims; but I guess you could tell that just by listening to it...

Here's the mix file:

And here's a poor attempt I had at mastering it:

Cheers

There is way too much bass in there, sounds like it's been mixed on laptop speakers. Before mastering it you might want to try referencing the mix on some other monitors or speakers to try to clear that up.

My room is very small and I'm too poor to treat it so that is not completely unexpected. I will try to have that in mind when mixing from now on. I'm also trying to fix it in this mix.

To much bass guitar mate, also cymbals to present, nice drum sound.More eq-ing on bass and guitars and automation will help.

Thanks for your try. I think I can hear clipping sometimes, but I'm not sure.

Did you boost the mids with an EQ?

I didn't do any automation at all because I'm too lazy but eventually I'll have to.

Maybe there is some clipping, using headphones as monitoring.Yes I did boost mids, not to much and dial out lows with 3 spikes around 40,60,100 hz.
