What's your metal album of the year for 2013? Or maybe just list your favorite five or something idk. I really fell out of the swing of things last year due to my life being a little crazy with college and moving around so I don't have one myself.

That new Altar of Plagues album was pretty good eh?

The new altar of plagues sucked so fucking hard they broke up shortly after.

Yeah new Altar of Plagues was a massive bust.

Top 3:

Aosoth- IV: Arrow in Heart
Deafheaven- Sunbather
Peste Noire- Peste Noire

Those were the only three metal albums I absolutely loved. After that there's a number of albums that I really liked. Wędrujący Wiatr and Svartidauði were the best new metal bands I heard.

My favorite is the Triumph, Genus album in the end but that's because I'm a twatatat.

I seriously fail to get the Antediluvian buzz. I own Through the Cervix and it never really clicked. Cool album and stuff, but nothing to make it really stand out among the other black/death bands. I'd rather blast Mitochondrion or Portal. I've heard Logos only a few times and nothing stuck out to me there either.

Hacride - Back to where you've never been

Gorguts - Colored Sands(texturally one of the most complex albums this year)

Vhol - Vhol(sonic barrage)

Lord Dying - summon the faithless(old school done right)
