Arch Enemy - Wages of Sin

yah, i'd say their best, burning birdges is a very close second however

speaking of AE, i picked up Black Earth down town today at a little CD shop attatched to a record label building for like $22.99. pretty good stuff from what i've heard.haven't given it a thorough listen, but its good. Bury Me An Angel is fucking classic! and $22.99 is relatively cheap for a metal CD these days where i come from. sad huh?

well AE has kind of a new style along with the new singer, thats why they booted the old guy out, so its kind of hard to compare wages of sin to the first 3 albums. either way, i prefer black earth to any other AE release.

It's pretty good, but the riffs ARE kind of generic, and I cant say this record has had much staying power. I've had it for a few months, and haven't really had the urge to listen to it in a long time. The best song is on Disc 2, in DIVA SATANICA, in my opinion.

what i wnna know is why they didn't release Lament of a Mortal Soul. its an unreleased bonus track on the first disc of the 2 disc ppack, but why? that song is FUCKING GREAT! one of the best if not the best on the album
boggles the mind

oh well, i'm off to work to listen to music and get payed for it :)

'emmm...
poet to the pit ha!
we distingrate-boring riffs
muddy sound in the first 2= songsand last song
snares out of range
generic moral lyrics at times
stupid solo's on river dragon.
