I just got a cd by this band Called Doomsday Machine. It's ok but what do you guys think about this band. ??

I think they were better pre-Gossow. Don't believe me? Get a CD from the Liva era, and (ignoring the vocals), listen to the music. It's much more complicated stuff than their current sound. I like Doomsday Machine, but it's no "burning bridges"

I saw them at donington 2004 and was pretty pissed, but that might of been because I was expecting Static-X to be on. My love for Wayne statics band went out the window at that point. Especially as I forfieted danko jones to see em.
...err. anyway. not particularly a fan.

Anyway, I dig Arch Enemy. Mostly because they know how to write a song, they have leads, good drummer, you know, they are a real band. They are not my favourit band or anything, but I think they are good. The first time I saw them they opened for slayer. The chorus to "Ravenous" was stuck in my head for a week and I had never even heard them before that day. To me, that is a good song - if someone who has never heard it hears it once and then it gets in their head.

Well I take that back - I have heard some really annoying shit that has also got stuck in my head

I much prefer the newer stuff than the Johan stuff because it sounds closer to how Carcass should have gone after Necrotism to me.
