I like The Sham Mirrors more, but it's definitely a solid album. Definitely one of the more interesting bands to come from the black metal scene in my opinion. If you can find anything by a group named Thorns, you should give them a listen as well, you may dig them too.

I don't have that big of a problem with Sideshow Symphonies. It's a decent album, but it's just not even close to the standard that La Masquerade Infernale or The Sham Mirrors set.

the latest album was decent. Simen's vocals get on my nerves sometimes. He's good, but...eh...in small doses I guess

i was really anxious to hear how he would fit in and i didnt expect him to be as good as garm..........but i like him MORE than garm. believe that.
