Are cameras allowed for the Damnation tour?

Hey, fancy that, I was wondering that too for the Chicago show. Do I smell a multi-angle, post-show-online-video-editing-collaboration... if they allow them that is.... maybe it depends on the venue.


One question, if they do allow it, can you just go and set it up somewhere, or do you have to sit and hold it or whatever, cause I'd rather not hold a videocamera through the entire show =)

Yes, they are, I took my digital camera in and got a few pix... however, it may be up to the venue as to whether they let you take a camera in

my sources tell me that the floor is gonna be set up with tables, and ill be the tall guy at the table all the way at the front ;-)

I think it's up to the venue. Digital cameras and recording equipment were not allowed at the D.C. show.

Mine was confiscated. They told me to delete all the pics, so I pretended to do so. I picked up my camera at the end of the show, and was relieved to see I'd gotten away with my little trick.

I would guess that it is up to the actualy venue...

It's funny how when Opeth played with Nevermore how it wasn't a big deal about camera's now it's all this bullshit! I didn't see many camera's at the trocadero and i think fans of the band should be allowed to take pictures of their favorite band. I never seen Nevermore tell anyone not to take pictures!

everybody should be allowed to bring cameras to shows. hell, even camcorders should be ok. it's a fucking concert, not a museum!

they seemed very little concerned about the bootleg we made of windowpane, but i doubt theyll let you bring in cameras if they see them.
