Yea I was wondering this also, Ill be at the Chicago show on friday

Hey, fancy that, I was wondering that too for the Chicago show. Do I smell a multi-angle, post-show-online-video-editing-collaboration... ;) if they allow them that is.... maybe it depends on the venue.

One question, if they do allow it, can you just go and set it up somewhere, or do you have to sit and hold it or whatever, cause I'd rather not hold a videocamera through the entire show =)

Hehhee. I was wondering cuz I'll be at the Chicago one also.

Yes, they are, I took my digital camera in and got a few pix... however, it may be up to the venue as to whether they let you take a camera in

Hmm yea, can anyone tell what happens if you take a camera to a venue and they take it off you? Do you get ur shit back or what lol

Mine was confiscated. They told me to delete all the pics, so I pretended to do so. I picked up my camera at the end of the show, and was relieved to see I'd gotten away with my little trick.

I was allowed my digital camera in Boston. In fact, I called prior to the show, and was informed that as long as I wasn't bringing professional equipment with me.

I would guess that it is up to the actualy venue...

It's funny how when Opeth played with Nevermore how it wasn't a big deal about camera's now it's all this bullshit! I didn't see many camera's at the trocadero and i think fans of the band should be allowed to take pictures of their favorite band. I never seen Nevermore tell anyone not to take pictures!

Has anyone called The Vic Theatre for Friday's show? Maybe I will today.
